| Specificity | This product is specific for human G-CSF (Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor), a 19.6kDa hematopoietic growth factor and member of the CSF family of hormone-like glycoproteins, which stimulates the development of bone marrow progenitor cells and in particular those committed to neutrophil lineage. The ability of G-CSF to stimulate the proliferation/differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenitor cells and survival of mature neutrophils, has resulted in G-CSF becoming an important factor in patient treatment following allogeneic (bone marrow/stem cell) transplantation and chemotherapy. To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hG-CSF (0.5 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.04-0.06 ug/ml of this antibody is required. |

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
