PreparationImmunogen was recombinant viral HEV71-VP1 protein. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G/A affinity chromatography.

Description

Description

Enterovirus 71 (EV-71) is notable as one of the major causative agents for hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD), and is sometimes associated with severe central nervous system diseases. To date, little is known about the molecular mechanisms of host response to EV71 infection, but increases in the level of mRNAs encoding chemokines, proteins involved in protein degradation, complement proteins, and proapoptotis proteins have been implicated.

Storage/Stability

Store at -20°C. If intended for use within a month, may keep at 4°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration

12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
