Description

Introduction

The product of this gene is a heat-shock transcription factor. Transcription of heat-shock genes is rapidly induced after temperature stress. Hsp90, by itself and/or associated with multichaperone complexes, is a major repressor of this gene.

Western blot analysis of HSF1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal HSF1 Antibody (N-term) (Cat# 102-12355). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the HSF1 gene.
HSF1 Antibody (N-term) (102-12355)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human kidney carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of HSF1 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
