Description
CD90, a 25-35 kD GPI-anchored protein also named Thy-1, is a member of the Ig superfamily. Human CD90 is expressed on neuronal cells and human thymocytes, a subset of CD34+ cells, a subset of fetal liver cells, fibroblasts, activated endothelial cells, and some leukemia cell lines. Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC) express both CD34 and CD90. CD90 plays roles in signal transduction, cell adhesion and migration, neurite outgrowth, T cell activation, tumor suppression, and inhibition of the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
