CD95 is a single chain type I glycoprotein in the TNF receptor superfamily which is expresed on T and B lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, and fibroblasts. When activation takes place, CD95 is upregulated. When the extracellular region of CD95 binds to the Fas ligand (CD178) apoptosis is induced.

Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
