CD44 is an 85-90kD glycoprotein which is expressed on all leukocytes, endothelial cells, hepatocytes, and mesenchymal cells. CD44 expression can change between high, medium, and low levels depending on if B or T cells have been activated or progressed to the memory stage. CD44 is associated with leukocyte attachment to endothelial cells and leukocyte aggregation.

Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
