Description
CD71 is a type II transmembrane protein with two disulfide-linked monomers. It is also known as the transferrin receptor. CD71 is expressed on proliferating cells and developing erythroids. CD71 mediates the iron uptake in cells to control cellular proliferation.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
