Description
IL-2 is a member of the cytokine family, which also includes IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-15, and IL-21. IL-2 signals through the IL-2 receptor, a complex consisting of three chains, IL-2Rα (CD25), IL-2Rβ chain (CD122) and the common γ chain (CD132). IL-2 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which primarily stimulates growth and differentiation of T cells to regulate immune response and immune tolerance. It also has effects on B cells, NK cells, LAK cells, monocytes, and oligodendrocytes. In addition, IL-2 plays a role in hematopoiesis, tumor surveillance, and anti-inflammatory reactions.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
