Description
Orf virus (ORFV), a Parapoxvirus belonging to the family Poxviridae, became attractive as a novel virus vector system that we successfully used for the generation of recombinant vaccines. ORFV encoded protein ORFV086 is a viral structural protein with the molecular weight of. 100.05 kDa. Proteolytic maturation of ORFV086 leads to release of the 70, 55, 45, 30, 29 and 20 kDa products. This protein is essential for the formation of mature infectious viral progeny.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity.
