Description

Introduction

Component of the HBO1 complex which has a histone H4-specific acetyltransferase activity, a reduced activity toward histone H3 and is responsible for the bulk of histone H4 acetylation in vivo. Transcriptional coactivator it may also promote acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 by KAT5. Promotes apoptosis. May act as a renal tumor suppressor.

Western blot analysis of lysate from U-251 MG cell line, using PHF17 Antibody (N-term)(Cat# 102-12005). 102-12005 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.
PHF17 Antibody (N-term) (Cat# 102-12005)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human liver tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of PHF17 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
