The purine nucleoside phosphorylases catalyze the phosphorolytic breakdown of the N-glycosidic bond in the beta- (deoxy)ribonucleoside molecules, with the formation of the corresponding free purine bases and pentose-1-phosphate.

Western blot analysis of lysates from Daudi, HT-1080, K562, MCF-7, MDA-MB-231 cell line (from left to right), using PNP Antibody (Center)(Cat. #102-23953). 102-23953 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 35ug per lane.
