This product has also been reported to work in Western blotting.
Specificity
This product immunoblots the 225kD talin band on SDS gels of platelets and other cells. It may be used to stain adhesion plaques in fixed and permeabilised fibroblasts. This antibody recognizes an epitope within residues 139-433.
Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
