Introduction

This gene encodes a tyrosine kinase receptor for vascular endothelial growth factors C and D. The protein is thought to be involved in lymphangiogenesis and maintenance of the lymphatic endothelium. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary lymphedema type IA.

This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
	Western blot analysis of anti-VGFR3 Monoclonal Antibody (Cat# 102-10506) by VGFR3 recombinant protein(Fragment 50KD). VGFR3 protein (arrow) was detected using the purified Mab.
