Human Antibody to Human Jo-1 Antigen
Specificity
Shows only the Jo-1 precipitate band when tested using double immunodiffusion against rabbit thymus extract. Specificity is verified by identity of precipitation with CDC-AF reference serum. The titer obtained will vary with the test system; however, undiluted antibody shows a strong Jo-1 precipitate band. Product shows no reactivity at a dilution of 1:100 when tested against purified SSA, Sm/RNP, Scl-70, SSB, and Sm antigens in an ELISA system designed to detect all IgG subclasses.

Human Plasma
Format
Format Type
Purified, Lyophilized. Reconstitute with 2 mL deionized water.
Purification
Single donor human plasma is delipidized and defibrinated. An immunoglobulin fraction is then precipitated and collected.
Buffer
Lyophilized from 0.01 M PBS, 0.13 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2.
Preservative
0.02% Sodium Azide (prior to lyophilization)
Application
Suitable for use in immunodiffusion and ELISA. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Storage
Store at < 0ºC. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Expiration:
12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
