| Immunogen | Immunogen was recombinant Hepatitis C Virus Nucleocapsid Core Antigen (HCVcAg) with a 6xHis tag, expressed in E. coli. The resulting monoclonal antibody does not bind HCV nucleocapsid core antigen but specifically recognizes His-tagged proteins. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of tissue culture supernatant was then purified by Protein G/A affinity chromatography. |

Storage/Stability
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
