TNF alpha is an adipokine involved in systemic inflammation and is a member of a group of cytokines that stimulate the acute phase reaction. It is produced chiefly by activated macrophages (M1), although it can be produced by many other cell types such asCD4+ lymphocytes, NK cells, neutrophils, mast cells, eosinophils, and neurons.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20^°C to -70^°C. The reconstituted antibody can be aliquotted and stored at 4^°C for 1 month or at -20^°C to -70^°C for many months without detectable loss of activity. Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
