The antigen is a glycoprotein of approximately 50kD molecular weight which is related in sequence to the low affinity Nerve Growth Factor Receptor, see Mallett, S. et al. for details.

This product is not mitogenic, but does enhance some T cell responses, see Paterson, D.J. et al. for details.
