Parainfluenza Type 2 Antigen
| Size | 1 mL |
| Estimated Lead Time | 3-4 weeks |
| Expression System | Vero Cells |
| Purity Determined By | Optimally infected monolayers are harvested, disrupted by sonication and subjected to low speed centrifugation. The clarified cell lysate is pooled with supernatant from the infected culture and concentrated using crossflow ultrafiltration. The resulting antigen preparation contains a high concentration of virus and viral components as well as some cellular material suspended in MEM. Sonication with a microtip prior to use is suggested. |
| Format | Lysate, Liquid |
| Formulation | Tissue Culture Media |
| Concentration (lot specific) | 2.02 mg/mL (Dye Binding Assay) |
| Preservative | None |
| Recommended Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA for both IgG and IgM detection. This antigen should be sonicated immediately prior to use. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested b, Suitable for use in ELISA for both IgG and IgM detection.
