Description
Mouse CD45, leukocyte common antigen (LCA), is a 180-240 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes, platelets and plasma cells. CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and functions in a number of immunoregulatory processes, including B and T cell activation, growth, differentiation and oncogenic transformation. CD45 is a tyrosine phosphatase, that are involved in modulating the function of intracellular substrates such as the Src kinases Lck and Fyn. Alternative splicing of RA, RB and RC polypeptide sequences of CD45 gene results in 8 isoforms with molecular weight between 180 - 240 kDa, the expression of which differs according to cell type and functional status.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
