Applications:
ELISA (recommended work dilution= 1: 40,000(at least detecting 25 µg/ml))
Preparation:
Immunogen was synthetic protein derived from Human CNP. This antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction was purified from rabbit serum followed by Protein A/G affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
A separate vial of dilution buffer is provided for reconstitution. The antibody is supplied lyophilized, originally containing PBS, without preservative stabilizers (e.g. sodium azide). The final amount is indicated on the shipping vial.
Species Reactivity:
Rabbit anti-Human Natriuretic Peptide Precursor C antibody detected specifically the target contained in tested samples (Serum and tissue). Cross reactivity with mouse and rat CNP has not yet been tested.
Natriuretic peptides comprise a family of 3 structurally related molecules: atrial natriuretic peptide, brain natriuretic peptide, and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), encoded by a gene symbolized NPPC. These peptides possess potent natriuretic, diuretic, and vasodilating activities and are implicated in body fluid homeostasis and blood pressure control. Natriuretic peptide precursor C homolog of mouse C type (CNP), most strongly expressed in the brain, also expressed in vascular endothelial cells and other tissues, present at extremely low level in circulation, potentially playing a paracrine/autocrine role.
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
