Galanin-like peptide (GALP) is a neuropeptide present in humans and other mammals. It is a 60-amino acidpolypeptide produced in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus and the posterior pituitary gland.It is involved in the regulation of appetite and may also have other roles such as in inflammation, sex behavior, and stress.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20^°C to -70^°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4^°C for 1 month or at -20^°C to -70^°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
