Applications:
ELISA (recommended work dilution= 1:10e6 (at least))
Immunogen Sequence:
CVPTKLRPMSMLYYDDGQNI
Preparation:
Immunogen was synthetic peptide derived from Human Inhibin A. This antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction will be purified from rabbit serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by Protein A/G affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Supplied as lyophilized purified antibody. The antibody can be reconstituted in sterile PBS, be stored at 4°C for 1 month after resuspension. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Inhibins are dimeric peptide hormones produced by female ovarian granulose cells and male Sertoli cells as well as a variety of other tissues. Inhibins have two isoforms, A and B, with the same alpha subunit but different beta subunits.
Inhibin A is a dimer of alpha and beta A subunits, inhibin B is a dimer of alpha and beta B subunits. Inhibins can inhibit the production of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) by the pituitary gland. In addition, Inhibins also play a role in the control of gametogenesis, and embryonic and fetal development.
The antibody detects specifically synthetic immunogen. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat Inhibin B are not tested yet.
Store at -20°C if not intended for use within a month. Keep it at 4°C and minimize freezing and thawing during use.
