Anti-TAP1 (C-term) Antibody
| Size | 50 µg |
| Estimated Lead Time | 1-2 weeks |
| Species | Human |
| Specificity | This product detects an epitope within the C-terminal region of human TAP1, also known as transporter associated with antigen processing 1. TAP1 is an 81kDa membrane-associated protein which is a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily and together with the homologous subunit TAP2 forms the functional TAP complex. TAP1 is involved in the transport of antigenic peptides from the cytosol into the endoplasmic reticulum, where they associate with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. These complexes are presented at the cell surface to T-lymphocytes, which identify and remove infected or malignantly transformed cells. This product does not cross react with TAP2. |
