Description
FAK is an important member of integrin-mediated signal transduction, has tyrosine kinase activity, and can be autophosphorylated; New members of the FAK family, like FAK's role, continue to be discovered. FAK has recently been found to inhibit apoptosis and FAK itself is a substrate for caspase. FAK, as a signal molecule, also has crosstalk with other signal transduction pathways within the cell and is directly involved in the regulation of various functions of cells.
Storage
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
