Immunohistology - Frozen, ELISA (dilution: 0.1ug/ml, 0.2ug/ml), Functional Assays, Immunofluorescence, Western Blotting
Concentration:
IgG concentration 1.0 mg/ml after reconstitution
Preparation:
Antisera to rat CNTF were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 0.1 ml distilled water. The addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended for long term storage.N.B. For functional studies do not add sodium azide.

Rat, Mouse
This product recognizes rat ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF).
Rat CNTF is a 22.7kD neuroregulatory cytokine which is found primarily in peripheral nerve tissue. CNTF promotes the survival and differentiation of neurons and other neuronal cell types.
Prior to reconstitution store at +4 °C. Following reconstitution store at -20 °C.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.
