Specificity
This product recognizes green fluorescent protein (GFP), a 27kD protein which is derived from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria. GFP fluoresces green (509nm) when excited by blue light (395nm) and is commonly used as a marker of gene expression.
Storage/Stability
Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
