Mitochondrial DNA Damage Assays
The Mitochondrial DNA Damage Quantification kits are qPCR-based assays that detect the accumulation of lesions in mtDNA — a suspected driver of energy crisis in aging or diseased tissues. These assays are available for human, mouse, or rat-derived DNA, and target the long mtDNA D-Loop region, which is most susceptible to damage.
