Mouse RTK Phosphorylation Array C1
I tested the mouse RTK array from RayBiotech using several mouse cancer cell lines with known differences in phospho RTK signaling that had previously been validated by western blot. However, the array produced nearly identical patterns across all samples, despite the expected differences in RTK activation. While this array kit is attractive because it covers a larger number of RTK targets compared with other commercial kits, I could not get it to work to detect biologically meaningful variation in phosphorylation levels.

We used this product to assay changes in signaling utilization with a drug compound. The protocol was easy to follow and was easy to perform. Our samples were mouse pancreas cancer cell lines and the blots turned out perfectly.

I used this kit to determine the RTK Phosphorylation in mouse brain tissue lysates with 100ug total protein per memberane. About 50 proteins are detected. Positive control and negative/blank controls work well. The method is easy to follow and the detection system is compatible with other imaging system. I used IRDye® 800CW Streptavidin instead of HRP-conjugated Streptavidin provided in the kit and scanned the memberanes with LI-COR Odyssey system. The blots looks perfect.
