8A-450 are water soluble core/shell quantum dots with reactive group of amine, which allows covalent bond formation to proteins/peptides via primary amine, carboxy or thiol groups. Their surface is specifically engineered with a polymer coating for high binding capacity and low non-specific binding. 8A-450 is very stable in most buffer solutions in the pH range of 5-10.
