Natriuretic peptide precursor C, also known as NPPC, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NPPCgene.The precursor NPPC protein is cleaved to the 22 amino acid peptide C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP).The peptides possess potent natriuretic, diuretic, and vasodilating activities and are implicated in body fluid homeostasis and blood pressure control.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20^°C to -70^°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4^°C for 1 month or at -20^°C to -70^°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity.
