Lane 1, recombinant protein CCND1.The membrane blot was probed with antiCCND1 primary antibody (0.2 µg/ml). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to IRDye 800CW detection system. Arrows indicate recombinant protein CCND1 from E.coli cell (35kDa).

Description

Description

Cyclin D1 (CCND1) is a critical mitogen-regulated cell-cycle control element whose transcriptional modulation plays a crucial role in cancer growth and progression. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance throughout the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases.

Specificity

This antibody binds to its immunogen, and did not show any cross reactivity with unrelated antigens in ELISA. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat CCND1 has not been tested yet.

Storage

Store at 4°C if intended for use within one month, otherwise, store at -20°C to -80°C. The lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 18 months after the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -80°C. After reconstitution, it can be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20°C to -80°C in a manual defrost freezer for at least 6 months without detectable loss of activity. Upon reconstitution, the antibody can also be stored for 1 month at 4°C. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles, as this will lower the activity of the antibody.
