| Specificity | This product recognizes the gp85/gp70 envelope glycoprotein of feline leukaemia virus. The antibody specifically recognizes the epitope defined by amino acids 214-218 of the gp70 sequence (aa MGPNL). Some weak cross-reactivity with the sequence MGPLL found in the FeLV p15e membrane protein may also occur. This antibody effectively neutralises all three FeLV subgroups (A,B and C). |
