Description
Specificity
Recognizes the c1 epitope, a conformational epitope which is only detectable when the alpha and beta subunits of FSH are associated (intact FSH). No cross-reaction is detected in RIA with human FSH beta or any other human glycoprotein hormone or subunit thereof. Two-site sandwich ELISA revealed recognition of a conformational epitope on intact human FSH which is located near the alpha 1 , alpha 2 and alpha 4 epitopes.
Storage/Stability
Short-term (up to 1 month) store at 2-8 °C. Long term, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
