GATA-3 belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. It regulates luminal epithelial celldifferentiation in the mammary gland.[7] The protein contains two GATA-type zinc fingers and is an important regulator of T cell development and plays an important role in endothelial cell biology.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20^°C to -70^°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4^°C for 1 month or at -20^°C to -70^°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity.
