CD36 is an integral membrane glycoprotein and is expressed on various epithelial and endothelial cells. CD36 functions as a scavenger receptor, binding thrombospondin, long chain fatty acids, and other molecules, as well as apoptotic cells.

Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
