Description
MHC class II molecules are a class of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules normally found only on antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, mononuclear phagocytes, some endothelial cells, thymic epithelial cells, and B cells. Human leukocyte antigens (HLAs) corresponding to MHC class II are HLA-DP, HLA-DM, HLA-DOA, HLA-DOB, HLA-DQ, and HLA-DR. MHC cass II interacts with T cell receoptor complex and present antigenic peptide to activate CD4 T cells. These cells are important in initiating immune responses. This antibody recognizes HLA-DR, DP, and DQ, which are the three main types of HLA class II molecules.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
