Human IL-38, previously called IL-1F10 or IL-1HY2, is a secreted cytokine belonging to the IL-1 family. It is synthesized as a 152 amino acid mature protein that lacks an identifiable signal sequence. It binds to soluble IL-1 RI. Human IL-38/IL-1F10 shares 82% aa sequence identity with mouse IL-38/IL-1F10. Human IL-38/IL-1F10 also shares 39% and 27% aa sequence identity with IL-1ra/IL-1F3 and IL-1 beta /IL-1F2, respectively.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
