ClonalityMonoclonal
Clone11E8F5C3
Immunogen
Immunogen was KLH carrier protein. This antibody was obtained from a mice immunized with the immunogen, then fusion, selection and identification. The identified clone was called as 11E8F5C3. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells derived from the immunized mouse. The IgM fraction of cell culture supernatant was purified by affinity chromatography.
Recommended ApplicationsELISA (recommended work dilution= 1:2, 000-5, 000), Western Blotting( recommended work dilution= 2-5 µg/ml)
Reconstitution
Product is supplied as a powder obtained from lyophilization of purified antibody in PBS without preservatives. Reconstitute the antibody with sterile water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.

Description

Description

The most commonly used carrier proteins are KLH (Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin), BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) and OVA (Ovalbumin). These carrier proteins have different properties. KLH is the largest, heterogeneous glycosylated protein consisting of subunits. The largest has a molecular weight (MW) in the range 4.5 x 105 - 1.3 107 .

Specificity

The mouse anti-KLH antibody detects individual KLH and conjugated protein, as well as KLHconjugated peptide in both ELISA and Western Blot.

Storage

Always prepare single-use aliquots after receiving package. A small amount of antibody can be kept at 4°C for daily use. For longer term storage, we recommend to keep them at -20°C after adding an equal volume of glycerol in PBS. It will not lose activity over a year. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
