Specificity	This antibody recognizes human mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule 1 (MAdCAM-1) a 60kD cell surface protein that is involved in lymphocyte trafficking. MAdCAM-1 is expressed on high endothelial venules of Peyer's patches and mesenteric lymph nodes. MAdCAM-1 expression has also been reported in the gut lamina propria.

Immunohistology:

This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining. This product does not require antigen retrieval prior to staining of paraffin sections.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
