MDK gene encodes a member of a small family of secreted growth factors that binds heparin and responds to retinoic acid. The encoded protein promotes cell growth, migration, and angiogenesis, in particular during tumorigenesis. This gene has been targeted as a therapeutic for a variety of different disorders. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed.

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. The reconstituted antibody can be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C for many months without detectable loss of activity. Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
