Description
?-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone (?-MSH) is an endogenous peptide hormone and neuropeptide.It is amelanocortin, specifically, one of the three types of melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH), and is produced fromproopiomelanocortin (POMC). It is an agonist of the MC1, MC3, MC4, and MC5 receptors. It exists in three forms, ?1-MSH, ?2-MSH, and ?3-MSH.
Storage
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
