Description
CD152, a 33 kd protein of the Ig superfamily, also known as CTLA-4, is a negative regulator of T cell activation. CD152 is expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes. CD152, like CD28, binds B7 family B7.1 and B7.2 and transduce inhibitory signal to T cell activation. CD152 is expressed in activated T cells, and plays a role in the induction and maintenance of immunological tolerance as well as the development of protection over excessive immune response.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
Storage / Stability
Keep the lyophilized antibodies at -20 °C. Once reconstituted with PBS, store at 2 °C - 8 °C for less than 3 weeks or freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Please limit freeze and thaw cycles.
