Description
CD326, also known as Ep-CAM, a 40kd type I transmembrane glycoprotein is a human epithelial cell adhesion molecule. CD326 is highly expressed in bone marrow, colon, lung, and most normal epithelial cells and on carcinomas of gastrointestinal origin. CD326 plays roles in several cellular processes, including signaling, migration, proliferation. In human being, CD326 antigen is an immunotherapeutic target for the treatment of human carcinomas. Anti-CD326 is widely used as marker for epithelial cells.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.
