Description
CD86 is an 80 kD Ig superfamily member also known as B7.2. CD86 is expressed on mature dendritic cells, macrophages, astrocytes and activated B cells and T cells. As costimulatory factors, CD86 and CD80, interact with CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4) to regulate T cell activation, with CD28 transducing activation signal, and CTLA4 transducing inhibitory signal. CD86 has also been shown to be involved in immunoglobulin class-switching and triggering of NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Recommended Usage
Each lot of antibody has been tested by flow cytometry staining. We suggest use ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume of staining buffer. Researchers are recommended to further titrate this antibody at the optimal concentration for each specific application.

Store at 2 °C ~ 8 °C, protected from prolonged light exposure. DO NOT FREEZE.
