Description

Introduction

NSE is one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin. A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates.

Western blot analysis of NSE-Y25 Antibody (Cat# 102-15138) in mouse cerebellum tissue and Y79, HepG2, Jurkat, CEM cell line lysates (35ug/lane). NSE (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
NSE Antibody (Y25) (Cat# 102-15138)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of NSE Antibody (Y25) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
