Description

Introduction

The gene for cJun is the putative transforming gene of avian sarcoma virus 17. The cJun protein is a transcription factor highly similar to the viral protein, and interacts directly with specific target DNA sequences to regulate gene expression. The gene maps to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involved in both translocations and deletions in human malignancies.

Dot blot analysis of anti-Phospho-cJun-S63 Antibody (Cat# 102-15293) on nitrocellulose membrane. 50ng of Phospho-peptide or Non Phospho-peptide per dot were adsorbed. Antibody working concentrations are 0.5ug per ml.
Western blot analysis of anti-Phospho-cJun-pS63 Pab (Cat# 102-15293) in mouse brain tissue lysate (35ug/lane). Mouse Phospho-cJun-pS63(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.
