Description

Introduction

PON3 is secreted into the bloodstream and associates with high-density lipoprotein (HDL). The protein also rapidly hydrolyzes lactones and can inhibit the oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), a function that is believed to slow the initiation and progression of atherosclerosis.

Western blot analysis of PON3 Antibody (N-term) (Cat# 102-17935) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). PON3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma with PON3 Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells using PON3 Antibody (N-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
