Description

This product detects a band of approximately 43kDa in rat brain when used under reducing conditions at a dilution of 1/500.

Specificity

This product is specific for G protein alpha 12, a guanine nucleotide binding protein that is involved in various transmembrane signaling systems. G proteins are composed of 3 units (alpha, beta and gamma); the alpha chain contains the guanine nucleotide binding site.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 18 months after receipt.
