Description

Introduction

SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors. Its expression is induced by heat shock. The protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen; thus it is thought to be a molecular chaperone involved in the maturation of collagen molecules. Autoantibodies to this protein have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Western blot analysis of SERPINH1 antibody (Center) (Cat# 102-17308) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). SERPINH1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
SERPINH1 Antibody (Center) (RB18952) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human testis tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the SERPINH1 Antibody (Center) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
SERPINH1 Antibody (Center) (Cat# 102-17308) flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
