Catalog #: RB-02-0003

Rabbit anti-Stat5 (pTyr694) Antibody

Product Description

Specifications

Size20 µg, 100 µg, 200 µg, 500 µg
Estimated Lead Time1-2 business days
SpeciesHuman
Specificity
The antibody is able to bind to phosphorylated peptide, but not regular peptide in ELISA. It also specifically detects phosphorylated cellular protein derived from stimulated cells. It recognizes Stat5 phosphorylated at Tyr694 in both ELISA and WB. This antibody shows no cross-reactivity with other unrelated protein.
Accession Number
NM_003152
Immunogen
Immunogen was synthetic phosphorylated peptide derived from human Stat5. This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with the immunogen. The IgG fraction of immunized serum was purified by two step affinity chromatographies.
Immunogen Sequence
CAVDGY(P)VKPQIK
Recommended ApplicationsELISA (recommended work dilution= 1: 2, 000-4, 000), Western Blotting (recommended work dilution= 2-5 µg/ml), Note: Other applications are not tested yet. Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Reconstitution
Supplied as 100 µl of purified antibody in sterile PBS (pH 7.5), containing 0.1% BSA. The final concentration is indicated on the shipping vial. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Shipping TypeAmbient temperature
Storage-20°C

Description

Typical Data

Cell Lysate: A431 + EGF | Secondary Ab: Rabbit | Exposure: HDR | Expected MW (kDa): 91

Storage/Stability

Always prepare single-use aliquots planning use while receiving package. A small amount of antibody can be kept at 4°C for daily use. For a long storage, recommend to keep them at -20°C after adding an equal volume of glycerol in PBS. It will not lose activity over a year. Minimize freezing and thawing when use.

Expiration

12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
